Although originally set on wallpapering, it felt a bit daunting and we opted for a mural instead. Matched a deep green in the mural for the wall paint, and shade lighter for trim! These buttery yellow cabinets were installed in 2005 by a previous owner, they're still in great shape and after switching out hardware they feel brand new. The floors were painted in 2005 as well and are my favorite thing about the room; perfectly worn they add a lot of interest without being overwhelming.
